Whingeit Traveling opens your eyes
I just came back from a great holiday in Prague. Impressed by its’ beautiful building, loved visiting stunning churches, and enjoyed walking through spectacular garden around castle on the top of the hill.
And was shocked by the price of transport.
We paid around £8.00 for a two week travel card, using metros, trams, and buses any-where.
The metros were clean, fast, and regular.
I just can not figure out why London transport with such a poor service is so expensive. Every-body seem to grumble about it, but seem no-body is doing any-thing about it. I deeply resent to pay so much for using public transport, but I do not much choice either

London has ten times as many people living in it and its tube network is the oldest in the world.
If we could shut the tube for a year I'm sure they could clean it up and make it much better but then no one could get to work. Check out the new jubilee extension for an example of a great tube system in London. The space and architecture of the stations are amazing.
I think the main problem with London is that there are far too many people here for the infrastructure to sustain, plus Londoners seem to have a different mentality to other Europeans when it comes to litter dropping and cleaning up after themselves.
